We learned early on how important it was to provide an easy and secure sharing environment that acts as one source of truth. This principle became the foundation for our journey. What started out as a small company with a big vision has grown into an international leader in secure collaboration and governance technology.
Our journey to success hasn’t always been linear, but it has been filled with countless positive milestones that shaped who we are today.
In 2009, we welcomed our very first Blue-Chip customer. This was a huge moment for us that validated all of our hard work and constant commitment to the high quality and innovation of our Board Portal.
From day one, we've demonstrated consistent annual increases in both revenue streams and customer base, achieving cash flow positivity by 2010 and establishing the groundwork for a robust and enduring enterprise. This dual success in expanding our top-line performance while strengthening our bottom-line results has positioned us as a compelling investment opportunity, enabling us to secure the funding necessary for continued growth initiatives.
Our strategic approach of balancing aggressive expansion with financial sustainability has been instrumental to our achievements. This success stems from our unwavering commitment to strategic focus, disciplined decision-making, and a dedicated workforce that consistently exceeds expectations in serving our customers and creating value for all stakeholders.
We soon saw that our customers were using our Board Portal as a Virtual Data Room (VDR) in due diligence. We saw the need to carve out a VDR as a standalone offering to provide M&A professionals with a secure platform to perform their complex due diligence and sales processes. With that, our Data Room offering was officially born in 2010, expanding our portfolio and setting the stage for more big ideas to grow in the future.
Our expansion to other countries soon followed. Between 2010 and 2014, we established a presence in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and the UK, proving that our solutions could not only survive, but thrive in diverse markets.
By 2011, our momentum was building quickly. It was time to launch something new into the market – something that hadn’t been done before. This was the year that Admincontrol launched our groundbreaking iPad app, among the very first native business apps in the Nordics. For the first time, users could access and annotate documents both online and offline, delivering cost savings, environmental benefits, and a new level of convenience.
The launch of the iPad app accelerated our journey and helped us get to where we are today. It combined security and ease of use in a way that completely transformed boardroom collaboration. It completely transformed boardroom collaboration.
This spirit of innovation has always been at the heart of Admincontrol. In 2017, we introduced eSigning, making secure digital approvals a seamless part of governance. This feature was ready to comply with new regulations, just in time for eSigning to take off.
Additionally, we were the first to open a web shop that gave customers instant access to our VDR offerings, while our board book and meeting minutes functionalities, along with market leading security measures, helped us stand apart from generic and unsecured tools like Dropbox and email.
Some of our recent achievements are the Board Evaluation Survey and Self Competence Assessment. These tools empower boards to evaluate their board performance, gauge their competence, improve governance, and make strategic decisions with respect, anonymity, compliance, and security. Regulations and stakeholder expectations are moving towards requiring these types of evaluation tools to ensure compliance and understanding between all parties. These features reflect our belief that technology should not only simplify workflows but also strengthen the way boards operate.
Today, we continue to evolve with modern Android and iOS apps that are among the most advanced in the market. Our AI-powered search and editing tools are just the beginning of our AI journey, and we are excited about the possibilities ahead. With certifications such as ISO and SOC 2, and recognition like Cyber Essentials Plus, security remains part of our DNA. With our AI products, we also prioritise uniformity and platform independence. We never compromise on quality, and we never jeopardize the trust our customers place in us.
Over the years, Admincontrol has been acquired three times, each process involving rigorous due diligence that confirmed our strategy, financials, and value. Far from being a challenge, these acquisitions have been a strength, fueling our growth and enabling us to invest more deeply in research and development.
Being recently acquired by Euronext in 2025 has been a pivotal moment in our journey, giving us the resources to serve our customers even better and to prepare for the future with cutting-edge innovation. We feel very at home with this new acquisition as Euronext Corporate Solutions already has such large ties to compliance and governance. This partnership will allow us to achieve our ambitions of growing into the south of Europe.
