As a buyer in the data room, you have the option to upload multiple questions to the Q&A module at once. This feature is particularly valuable for teams needing to submit numerous questions efficiently, streamlining the process and supporting effective collaboration.
Step 1: Download Folder Structure
- Click the Data Room folder on the left side panel.
- Then click Q&A in the middle of the screen.
- Go to More actions and select Download folder structure
Step 2: Prepare the Excel File
- Your browser will prompt you to save an Excel file containing a list of all folders in the data room.
- Download the file to your hard drive and open it in Excel.
- Each row in the document represents a folder in the data room.
- To add a question to a folder, type the question into column C (Question 1).
- If categories are enabled, select a category from column D.
- For multiple questions in the same folder, use column E (Question 2), and so on.
Step 3: Save Changes in Excel
- After filling in all questions and categories, save the changes.
Step 4: Import Questions to Q&A Module
- Return to Admincontrol.
- Go to More actions in the Q&A module again, and select Bulk questions import.
- Click the Browse button and navigate to the folder where you saved the Excel document.
- Click Upload and wait for the upload to finish.
Completion
- Once the process is complete, the questions from the Excel document will be successfully uploaded to the Q&A module.
