Release notes – April 2024. This release brings two changes to the Admincontrol board portal and data room: a new way to extract selected decisions from meeting minutes into a separate document, and an updated document viewer with a modern layout and instant autosave of annotations.

An easy way to make an extract from Meeting minutes

Sometimes a board needs to provide documentation on certain decisions made in the board room, without disclosing all the information from the board meetings. This can be obtained by extracting only the information about these types of decisions and producing a separate document providing the decision.

If you need to make an extract or create a limited version of your meeting minutes, we have created an easy and efficient way to do so. Based on your original meeting minutes document you can select the items needed in your extract and have a separate document to present to the correct partners or authorities.

We have updated our document viewer!

The new interface has a modern design, making navigation more intuitive and pleasant. Note that some functionalities have been relocated and that your annotations will now be autosaved instantly – the save button has therefore been removed. We will continue to further enhance the viewer in the time to come.

What this means for you

• Extracts from meeting minutes. Boards often have to document a specific decision for a bank, an auditor, a public authority or a business partner without sharing the full minutes. The extract function lets the secretary pick the relevant items from the original minutes and generate a separate document that contains only those items. The original minutes stay unchanged.
• Activation. The extract function is switched on per portal. Contact your customer contact at Admincontrol to activate it.
• Document viewer. The viewer used for board books, agendas and data room documents has a new design. Some tools have moved, so take a moment to locate the annotation and navigation controls you use most.
• Autosaved annotations. Notes and highlights are saved the moment you make them. The save button is gone because it is no longer needed, and you will not lose annotations if you close the viewer or lose your connection.
