Release notes – August 2023. This release refreshes the look of Secure messaging in the board portal and data room and makes document uploads less intrusive by closing the upload window automatically when everything has been uploaded successfully.

Secure messages

The visual layout of Secure messaging has been upgraded for alignment with color upgrades of the service, and for better readability and interaction. The inbox has a new look and color scheme that makes it easier to distinguish between unread and read messages.

Upload improvements

If all files are successfully uploaded, the small window that pops up when uploading is ongoing will automatically close, except if something fails in the upload process. For a full overview of your uploads, you can always go to My Uploads in the sidebar menu.

What this means for you

• Secure messaging inbox. The inbox has a new layout and colour scheme aligned with the rest of the service. Unread messages now stand out more clearly from messages you have already read, so it is quicker to see what needs your attention.
• No change to how messages work. Composing, replying, attaching documents and notification settings are unchanged; only the visual layout has been updated.
• Upload window. When you upload documents, the small progress window closes by itself once all files have been uploaded. It stays open only if one or more files fail, so you always see when something needs a second attempt.
• Full upload history. Every upload, successful or failed, is listed under My Uploads in the sidebar, where you can check the status of larger batches later.
• Retrying failed files. If the window stays open, the files that failed are marked. Retry them from the same window, or later from My Uploads, where each entry shows whether it was processed successfully.
