Board portal release notes – September 2023. This release adds the Board Evaluation Survey as a module inside the board portal, improves the overview of signature requests and adds a setting for stating present attendees in the meeting minutes.

New Board Evaluation module

We now have Board Evaluation Survey as a new module embedded in our Board Portal! The Admincontrol board evaluation module is an easy-to-use and easy-to-access module in your Board Portal. It all starts by deciding who´s going to attend the survey and to send it out for their answers Thereafter, a ready-to-use presentation is generated to facilitate a discussion in the board room.

The board survey covers five core areas addressing the key responsibilities of the Board as well as best practices in terms of processes and leadership. It consists of 5 chapters and about 50 quotes as well as areas to add comments and suggestions. Learn more about the new Board Evaluation module here.

Signatures

We have made an improvement to the signature area in your portal, so you will have easier access to what needs your attention, or what you need to follow up on. It is now possible to collapse and expand the sections for documents you are requested to sign and the signature requests you have sent for others to sign.

Present attendees in Meeting Minutes

We have made an improvement in how the participants can be stated as present in the Meeting minutes document, so it can follow the same optional pattern as the absent participants. These options can be found in the settings menu for meeting minutes.

What this means for you

• Board evaluation inside the portal. The survey owner chooses who should answer, sends the survey out and receives a ready-to-use presentation that supports the discussion in the boardroom. The survey covers five core areas of the board's responsibilities and best practice in processes and leadership, in five chapters with about 50 statements plus room for comments and suggestions.
• Respondents. Board members answer the survey in the Admincontrol app or on the web; progress is saved so a survey can be finished later.
• Signature overview. The signature area can be collapsed and expanded per section: documents waiting for your signature and requests you have sent to others. Long lists become easier to follow up.
• Present attendees in the minutes. Present participants can be stated in the minutes with the same optional pattern that already exists for absent participants; the setting is in the settings menu for meeting minutes.
