Board portal release notes – March 2025. This release redesigns the board portal home page around the tasks that need your attention and adds the possibility to hide questions from the board evaluation survey.

Home page design updates

The home page has received a new and improved design in order to provide a better overview and navigation of important tasks. Here are the highlights for the new home page:

• You can add relevant contact information to the home page. The home page is visible for all users with access to a portal, and adding the contact information of relevant key stakeholders can be of value to users. Note that you can add a maximum of three contacts
• You now find your signature requests and board evaluation surveys located at the top of the home page. The new placement allows for a better overview and visibility of your to-do's
• Product announcements and system messages have a new placement that provides a better overview. These announcements can be opened and closed
• The new design is more responsive to accommodate different screen sizes
  
  
  
  

Board evaluation survey: Hide questions

To further improve the flexibility of the board evaluation survey, we now offer the possibility to hide questions from the survey battery to customise the survey even more:

• The section Select role can be hidden if not relevant
• You can hide questions from the different areas, however, one scale question has to remain in each section
• The remaining questions will be indexed automatically

What this means for you

• Contacts on the home page. Administrators can add up to three key contacts, for example the chair, the secretary and the CEO's office, so every user finds the right person without searching.
• To-dos at the top. Signature requests and board evaluation surveys waiting for you are placed at the top of the home page, which makes them hard to miss.
• Announcements. Product announcements and system messages have their own area and can be opened and closed, so they inform without getting in the way.
• Responsive layout. The new page adapts to different screen sizes, from a large monitor to a tablet.
• Board evaluation: hide questions. Survey owners can hide the Select role section if it is not relevant and hide individual questions in any area, as long as at least one scale question remains in each section. Remaining questions are renumbered automatically, so respondents see a clean survey.
