Board portal release notes – May 2026. This release extends the competence assessment with notes, follow-up requests and an activity log, makes AI search results easier to locate in folders, and raises the limits for electronic signature requests.

Competence Assessment

Assessment notes: Assessment owners can now add notes and commentary to document their overall evaluation of the board's collective competence, rationale behind conclusions, and additional observations, all includable in the report.

Request update: Assessment owners can now request updated answers from respondents when follow-ups or corrections are needed.

Activity log: A new activity log provides full visibility into changes and updated responses, giving a clear audit trail of everything that changed throughout the assessment process.

AI Search

When navigating to a folder from AI-powered search results, the document will now be highlighted, consistent with the existing data room experience, removing the need to manually hunt for it within the folder.

Electronic Signing

The 10-second minimum between signature requests has been removed, and the hourly limit has increased from 100 to 300 requests per user, allowing high-volume workflows to move significantly faster than before.

What this means for you

• Assessment notes. Assessment owners can document their overall view of the board's collective competence, the reasoning behind conclusions and other observations. Notes can be included in the report, so the nomination committee receives the assessment and the interpretation together.
• Request update. When an answer needs a correction or a follow-up, the owner can ask specific respondents for an updated answer instead of reopening the whole assessment.
• Activity log. Every change and updated response is recorded, which gives an audit trail for regulated boards that must show how an assessment was conducted.
• AI search. When you open a folder from an AI-powered search result, the matching document is highlighted, the same behaviour as in the data room, so you no longer have to scan the folder to find it.
• Electronic signing limits. The 10-second minimum interval between signature requests is removed and the hourly limit rises from 100 to 300 requests per user, which speeds up bulk signing rounds such as annual accounts across subsidiaries.
